serving tray
for christmas cookies of course..
this one was a learning curve trying to figure out how to do a finely detailed inlay. upon my research i stumbled upon something referred to as 'v-carve inlay'. the idea is the v-bit adjusts it's height as when when cutting
to allow for the sharp corners. the female portion is cut into the serving tray, and a mirrored male replicant is cut from a second piece of wood. glue them together and wait a day. cut off the excess material from the male portion, then it's a matter of a little cleanup.
